they're using it wrong.
They aren't.
“We replaced Miro, Excalidraw and half a Notion page with one Neura board. Honestly didn't expect that.”
“The sketch-to-diagram tool is the only AI feature I've kept on after the trial.”
“I teach electronics. EEE presets save me 20 minutes per lecture.”

Common questions.
How is Neura different from Excalidraw and Miro?
Excalidraw has the feel; Miro has the breadth. Neura is what you get when you keep the hand-drawn warmth, add real multiplayer, presets, AI, and exports, and put the whole thing under an MIT license.
Is the AI on by default?
No. It's a tool you reach for from the toolbar — never trained on your boards, never silently rewriting your work. You can disable it org-wide.
Can I self-host?
Yes — single binary or Docker. Postgres + S3-compatible storage and you're done. Team tier unlocks SSO and audit logs on your own infra.
What about offline?
Boards work fully offline in the browser via local-first sync. They reconcile when you come back online.
Do I own my work?
Always. Every board exports to SVG and to a portable .neura JSON. If we vanish tomorrow, your boards still open.
iPad / Apple Pencil?
First-class. Pressure, tilt, palm rejection, and Pencil double-tap shortcuts.
